How do I work?

How do I work and what engraving techniques do I use?

Most of what I make starts with a sketch on the computer, either simply in Sketchup or directly in my CAD (Computer-Aided Design) program. With the CAD program I draw up cutting files that my CNC Mill can read and cut from.

Once everything is cut and milled, there is sanding and surface treatment left, surface treatment varies by type of product. If the product must be "Food safe", a cutting board for example, I always use Paraffin Oil and then Beeswax on it.

Take a look at my YouTube channel , there are videos of how I work.

Epoxy inlay

After milling with the CNC router, I fill the motif with Epoxy and let it cure for 24 hours. The surface is then sanded flat.
