About Robro Design
Behind Robro Design stands me – a fairly handy everyday carpenter with an eye for detail and a passion for creation and technology. I have always worked with my hands. Over the years I have worked as a carpenter, technician, electrician and now also a locksmith. But what has always been bubbling in the background is the love for fine carpentry – that small-scale, precise, where every detail counts.
The interest developed in childhood. I grew up with free access to a carpentry shop and
workshop, and with a father who taught me that you can and should do things yourself. Somewhere there was born the dream of one day running something of my own.
Robro Design is my step in that direction. The name comes from the place where I live –
Roslagsbro, just outside Norrtälje – where I also manufacture all products. In my workshop
I design coffee tables, cutting boards, coasters and other interior design details in wood, often with a personal touch in the form of engraving and inlays in wood or epoxy. Everything is done on a small scale – from sketching on the computer to milling, sanding and surface treatment.
My goal is for each product to feel like an addition to your home, not just a gadget. A cutting board should be functional, yes – but also something you’d like to have on display. Maybe even like a small piece of art. And above all: it should feel personal!
That's why I offer the opportunity to create completely unique products – with names, quotes, images or special measurements, and the idea is that it should be possible to solve almost anything. An odd coffee table? A wooden wall lamp? We'll fix it.
I do this on top of my regular job, so expect a few days of delivery time – but in return you will get something unique and of good quality.
My vision? That Robro Design will become my full-time job. That people will feel: “Here you can get something that no one else has.” And that they will be 100% satisfied, every time.
Do you have any questions, an idea or anything else? Don't hesitate to contact me!
